We bring the customer
The lead, the site visit, the scheduling and the follow-up are ours. You don't pay for advertising and you don't chase anybody.
You price your own work
We don't tell you what your trade is worth. You quote it, we pass it through, and the homeowner gets one number for the whole job.
One invoice, one payment
You bill us, not the homeowner. Terms are agreed before the first job, in writing, and we stick to them.
What we'll ask you for
Nothing unusual, but we do ask before the first job rather than after something goes wrong. We carry liability insurance and tell every customer so — that only means anything if the people we bring onto their property carry it too.
- A current Maine license for your trade, where the trade requires one
- A certificate of insurance, with Home & Yard Service LLC listed as additional insured
- A signed W-9, so we can pay you without holding anything up
- Two references from work in the last year — we call them
What we're like to work with
Small outfit, direct answers, no procurement department. If a job is not right for you, say so and it costs you nothing with us. If something goes wrong on site, we'd rather hear it from you the same day than from the homeowner a week later. That is roughly the whole arrangement.
